Thank you for your interest in requesting an absentee ballot application for the upcoming election.


PLEASE NOTE: This process is for requesting an absentee ballot APPLICATION. Ohio Law does not allow for direct online ballot request submissions and a hard copy of an APPLICATION with the voter's signature is required for all regular, non-military or overseas voters who are requesting a ballot. Once you print or receive this application in the mail, you must complete and sign the application and return it to the Butler County Board of Elections for a ballot to be issued.

Instructions:

  • You must have either an Ohio Driver’s License or Identification Card OR Last 4 digits of Social Security Number to complete this request for an Application.
  • If you do not have one of these ID numbers, you will need to download a paper application and mail it to the Butler County Board of Elections. Otherwise, you may visit the Butler County Board of Elections at 1802 Princeton Road, Suite 600, Hamilton, OH 45011.
  • If submitting this application request online, please allow 3-5 business days for the application to arrive by mail.
